Q: How does it work?

A: To book our studio space, email info@MerakiStudioSpace.com.  Once full payment is received your time slot will be reserved.  We will contact you for further details.

Q: What is included?

A: You will have access to a large selection of light modifiers and a full set of studio strobes.  Various seating options are placed throughout the studio space and can be used as photography props if you so choose.

Q: Do you provide seamless?

A: We do have seamless available in white, black, grey and some various colors are available for a $30 flat rate for one color only.  That charge includes up to 10 feet of disposed of paper at the end of your session.  Additional colors/footage are available for an additional fee.  Colors will vary, please contact us prior to booking to ensure that we have the color you will need available prior to booking.

Q: Can I tour your studio?

A: Absolutely. Just contact us to request a tour.

Q: Does your studio provide space for hair and makeup?

A: Yes.  We have a separate lounge area, complete with a large sofa, large lighted mirrors, and two makeup chairs.

Q: Can we arrive early to set up?

A: Set-up, tear-down, and clean-up time is part of your scheduled session.  Please accommodate for that time when booking your scheduled time.  There will be an additional fee if you go over your scheduled session and do not fully exit the studio before your end time.

Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my session?

A: We accept full cancellations and reschedule requests at least 48 hours before your scheduled time.  Cancellation requests within 24-48 hours of your scheduled time will receive a 50% refund.  Cancellations less than 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time will not receive a refund.

Q: Can I bring my own props/lighting equipment?

A: Yes.

Q: Does your studio accommodate large groups?

A: We allow up to ten people in the studio at any time.  Please contact us prior to booking if your party will be larger than ten.

Q: Am I allowed to bring animals into the studio?

A: There no pets allowed in the studio.  However, services animals are always welcome.

Q: How large is your studio?

A: Approximately 1,500 square feet.

Q: When is your studio available to rent?

A: Our studio is available 7 days a week from 7 AM to 8 PM.

Q: Where can I park?

A: Parking is available onsite.

Q: What is the minimum amount of time that I can book?

A: Our booking minimum is 2 hours.

Q: Are there speakers available to play music during the shoot?

A: Yes. The studio is equipped with a blue tooth speaker that you can connect your phone/ipod to wirelessly or with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Q: What is prohibited?

A: We are happy to help you bring your projects to life.  However, there are a few things that are prohibited in the space. There is absolutely no smoking inside the space, drugs, glitter, colored powder, smoke grenades, shoots involving water. For a full list of prohibited items please refer to our Studio Policies.
